FAQ.

Your go-to guide for everything you need to know about appointments, treatments, and more at Beauty Boost, Teneriffe.

BOOK A CONSULTATION

  • Yes, we offer parking behind the building on the left hand side with “Beauty Boost clients” parking signage. Otherwise there is always plenty of street parking on commercial Rd, Florence St, Helen St and Chermside St.

  • You will receive an email with all medical treatments and post care dos/don’ts. This will have our details plus doctors details if you have an emergency. Our phone number (if concerned eg. allergy) is 0412 412 210. However in an emergency or if you can't reach the clinic, please go to emergency.

  • Although we do try our best, we unfortunately cannot always accommodate late arrivals. Treatment may be refused if you are ten or more minutes late to your appointment. The clinic reserves the right to cut your treatment time or cancel your appointment to ensure our Nurses do not run late for their following booking.

  • We are unable to advertise outside of a consultation due to Australian TGA Regulations. All costs will be calculated and detailed to patients prior to any procedure taking place.

  • Patient comfort is a priority at Beauty Boost. As these are clinical medical procedures involving injections, some level of discomfort is to be expected. During your mandatory clinical consultation, we will discuss your personal pain tolerance and the various comfort measures available to you, which may include clinical numbing options, ice, or distraction tools. We ensure all patients are fully informed of the sensation and recovery process before proceeding.

  • Your health and safety are our highest priorities. All procedures at Beauty Boost are medical in nature and suitability is determined only after a thorough clinical assessment. Please review the following safety guidelines:

    • Vaccinations & Immunisations: We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks between clinical procedures and standard vaccinations. For major immunisations, a 4-week window is advised.

    • Medications & Medical History: Please disclose all medications, vitamins, and supplements on your patient forms. Certain conditions, such as autoimmune diseases or specific allergies, may mean a procedure is not appropriate for you.

    • Dental Work: Major dental procedures should be scheduled at least 4 weeks apart from any clinical aesthetic treatments.

    • Travel Plans: We recommend avoiding clinical procedures within 2 weeks of international travel to allow for proper follow-up care if required. Domestic travel is generally appropriate after 24 hours.

    • Cold Sores: We cannot perform procedures on patients with active cold sores.

    • Previous Procedures: If you have had prescription-based clinical treatments elsewhere within the last 2 weeks, we advise waiting for a full assessment before booking.

    • Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Clinical aesthetic procedures and certain active skincare ingredients (such as Retinoids) are not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

    • Accutane Use: Patients currently prescribed Accutane are generally unsuitable for skin needling or PRP. Suitability for other clinical care will be assessed during your consultation.

A mandatory consultation is required for all new patients to discuss risks, recovery, and suitability in detail.
